We collect different information depending on how you interact with CouponPS:

  • Merchants (restaurant owners): Name, email address, restaurant name, and payment information processed via Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never your credit card details directly.
  • Claimers (coupon recipients): Email address and phone number provided when claiming a coupon. We also record the campaign source (e.g., Instagram, Google) if available via URL parameters.
  • Automatically collected: IP address, browser type, and device information through standard web server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate the CouponPS platform and deliver coupon campaigns.
  • Send transactional emails containing coupon QR codes and redemption details.
  • Process subscription payments via Stripe.
  • Prevent fraud and enforce one-coupon-per-customer limits.
  • Provide campaign analytics to Merchants (aggregated, not individual-level).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing (Merchants only).
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery (coupon emails).
  • Supabase — for authentication and file storage.
  • Neon — for database hosting.
  • Vercel — for application hosting.

Merchants can view the email addresses and phone numbers of customers who claimed their coupons, solely for the purpose of coupon verification and redemption.

4. Data Retention

Merchant data is retained for as long as the account is active. Claimer data (email and phone) is retained for the duration of the associated campaign plus 12 months for fraud prevention. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.

6. Cookies

CouponPS uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

8. Children's Privacy

CouponPS is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
